Kubuntu crash or not response suddenlly

Good night for all users

My Problem is as following :

Suddenlly My Pc crach or not response in Kubuntu

For more details : I tried to install the program mplayer using these command
./configure
make
make install

when i wrote " make " command , after moment my pc not response

no keyboard , no mouse work , then restart the pc is the only way

then , when restart pc, all thing as is ,

what is the problem , how to solve it.

is the version unstable or what is the problem .....

You may want to try installing Mplayer with Adept Manager (KMenu -> System -> Adept Manager); just type mplayer into the search bar, click the dropdown arrow to the left of the description, and choose Request Install. Then, click the Apply Changes button in the top menu of the window.

That should install it automatically for you; it's alway best to install software from the repositories whenever possible.
