gutsy will not load

Hi all
i am having problems,now i am not sure if the problem lies here,

before upgrade i had ubuntu fiesty fawn 7.04,with kubuntu fiesty fawn desktop,

when i did upgrade i did it while in ubuntu .

when re-starting pc,i get this error

busybox v1.1.3/debian 1.1.1.3-5ubuntu7 built in shell (ash) .

i can however go to grub,and boot into ubuntu fiesty and also choose kubuntu desktop.
in fiesty,i have the little green running man and some other gusty stuff

in kubuntu desktop i have updates ready to be installed,i check what updates and its gutsy 7.10.

i have left a post on the ubuntu website,no1 seems to be able to help.

i am not sure if i should be leaving this q here,sorry if i am on the wrong site as i am so confussed

Just a rough guess, but did you try to install the Kubuntu updates? Did they work?

And don't worry about being confused. That's how you know you are running Linux.

i only did ubuntu upgrade to gusty

i tried the upgrade,it starts then tells me my system is up to date

Are you still getting the "busybox error"? How far does your system go when you boot?

yes i still get busybox error

i boot up and the kubuntu splash screen comes up,then i wait and then busybox error comes up

it looks as no1 has any fixes for this,it must be a bug,how do i summit a bug report ?
