Wierd after upgrade

Hi all, happy to say the upgrade went fine except one thing.

I think the picture says it all, what it doesn't say is that this is a screenshot from a external monitor, Kubuntu running on my laptop, but I use external monitor etc. Laptop only supports up to 1024x768. On the laptop itself it looks alright.

Anyone have a solution for this or know how to fix it?

I don't have the exact solution for you, but the problem is probably with the "Screen" stanza in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file that pertains to that second (external) monitor. I've never run dual monitors so I don't know what to tell you to do with it, but it's clearly sending a signal for a different monitor (probably your laptop LCD) to the external monitor, producing that strange result. I'd search this Forum and the Ubuntu forum (and Google as a last resort) on the model name and number of your external monitor, and see if others have posted their xorg.conf configuration for it.
