I just installed and updated 7.1; when it starts now, it appears to be running fine, but then dumps to a text screen and stops.
Text showing on the screen is:
* File system check failed.
A log is being saved in Your name is: {@VAR:name(Enter your name here)}.
A log is being created in /var/log/fsck/checkfs.
Please repair the file system manually.
* A maintenance shell will now be started.
CONTROL-D will terminate this shell and resume system boot.
(note, ^D does nothing here)
bash: no job control in this shell
bash: groups: command not found.
bash: lesspipe: command not found.
bash: Command: command not found.
bash: The: command not found.
bash: dircolors: command not found.
bash: Command: command not found.
bash: The: command not found.
I then have to type "Exit" to get out of the screen, and it resumes the startup.
Ubuntu (same version) does not have this issue.
Are there any others having this issue, and is there a fix?
