Best DVD RW Drive with Lightscribe

Hello;

What's the best or most compatible DVD burner for Kubuntu right now? I want to buy one and I want to make sure it's going to work with my Kubuntu OS. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please advise.

I like the Lite-On brand, but I've read there are or were compatibility issues. Is this still true?

I'm just brain damaged.. but I only use Plextor because it's like a Mazda for cars.. they always work ;-) I have a Mazda 626 from 95 and a Plextor PX-750A on PATA and on my external usb case ;-) It all works very fine

*EDIT* I don't know anything about Lite-On.. you should be okay with it.
