I purchased the pvr150 because it has pal capabilites and I knew I would be moving to europe from the usa. So I brought my nice flat screen digital tv all the way over signed up for tv and I can get a signal but it's black and white only? I have googled this issue read man files done everything I can think of... Here are a few things I have tried
v4l2-ctl switching all kinds of settings and try all the pal settings
used mythtv to switch settings scan for channels etc
used mplayer to play the video
tryed every parameter of ivtv-ctl
I still end up with black and white or no pic/ very distored pic on all pal settings. The only thing I can think of is when I run modprobe ivtv i receive the following error:
WARNING: Error inserting i2c_core (/lib/modules/2.6.24.5-smp/kernel/drivers/i2c/i2c-core.ko): Invalid module format
WARNING: Error inserting i2c_algo_bit (/lib/modules/2.6.24.5-smp/kernel/drivers/i2c/algos/i2c-algo-bit.ko): Invalid module format
however everything else seems to work and this worked on US channels fine before I came. Here is my dmesg after I remove and add seems to initialize fine even with error message.
