Wireless doesn't work after restart, microphone does nothing.

    Hello,

I'm running Kubuntu 7.10 on an Acer Aspire 7520G.

After some reading on the ubuntu forum i got my wireless to work, however, after each restart it won't search for an wireless network anymore. I need to type this to get it working.

    Code:
    wlanconfig ath0 destroy
wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode sta
    ifconfig ath1 up
for some reason I can stop ath0 and destroy it, but i can't make a new one, so it automatically takes ath1, which works until I reboot.
    anyone knows of this problem?

as for my microphone, nothing works, I need it working with skype, but both my internal microphone and headset won't work.

NOTE: sound output on the headphone does work.
EDIT: After posting i saw that there's a separate category for wifi, I didn't know that, sorry.

If you don't find a way to fix the problem, you might try to put those commands into an autostart script...then when you log in, those commands would be run automatically. It might not work, but probably worth a try...if you need help, let me know, and I can help you out with it...
