    Dvorak woes

I just got my hands on a Dvorak Keyboard. It works just fine (I am using it now!). I went through the system settings like normal and chose Dvorak in the regional/keyboard settings. Works like a charm... EXCEPT when I log in. It's in Qwerty mode then. Once I log in, it's automatically in Dvorak mode.
Do I need to manually edit the XORG.conf to have the correct layout @ the log in screen? or did I miss a step?

The settings change you made are within/inside of the running KDE desktop environment, which starts after you have logged in. If you want the keyboard to be recognized prior to that - when X is started - then I believe you need to reconfigure the xserver:
    Code:
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
and select the Dvorak style keyboard.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
