To use the gspca driver, your chip needs to be shown as supported here:

        http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html

        I don't see it, unfortunately.

I don't anything more about the following site, or their ratings system, than what I see on this page, which I found with Google, but it doesn't look real encouraging:

Yes I have red this file of suported webcams but you know we are used to something like this: Webcams are relatively simple devices and it must that some kind of a driver is more or less universal like with CD devices.
To ask you something, how can I see the chipset of my webca when I can not find it on a web page of the manufacturer?
          The lnk is

Any kind of advice would be appreciate.

Yeowch -- OK, first a point of Forum etiquette. When you need to post a URL that runs more that the customary width of your browser window, you need to "embed" it or else it will cause the thread to become as wide as the URL, making it hard to read and requiring scrolling to the right to find the "Reply" button. So, to embed a long URL, you type the HTML tag "[(left bracket) url= " and then you paste the URL immediately after the "=" sign, and then you type "here" or "link" or whatever, and then you type "[/url]" and the URL itself will be embedded in the word between the HTML tags when you post.

OK, with that out of the way, you actually did find the chip name when you did the lspci command -- it is a Microdia. You are not the first to find a Microdia chip in your laptop, and no webcam support. Do a search on Ubuntu Forum on "microdia" or "microdia webcam" and I would guess you'll find a lot of your fellow sufferers, and maybe some ways to get it working.

For Microdia this is the driver you need. Not very well supported. It may or may not work.

No problem, anything can be forgiven (once). Let us know if you crack it -- a "How To" on the Documentation part of the Forum would certainly be appreciated, especially by the next one with the same problem.

When you open Camorama their should be a white box on the right side, under Effects right click in that box will beings up some filter settings. Use Color Correction that should take care of your blue issue. You can use your webcam with Kopete or install Ekiga.
