I have an nv6600 graphics card. I had done a gutsy upgrade a few months ago after doing a fiesty upgrade before that. I was having a few problems, so I decided to start fresh. Everything has gone ok, except my video is very choppy. When I move windows or load web page it takes forever, and I'm getting some sort of video noise when I move the mouse around.
I loaded the nvidia drivers through adept, and the problem remained. I tried loading the driver from the nvidia site NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.09, and my xserver wouldn't start. I downloaded envy and installed drivers with it, and I still have very choppy video.
Does anyone have any ideas?
