How Much Memory Is Left On My Hard Drive?

How does one see how much space is left on the hard drive? The sad thing is, I've done it before I just can't find it now. Old age... :P

    In a console, type:
    Code:
    df -hT
As to "Old age", there isn't any 'memory' on any HD!
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      Or
      Code:
      df -hH
      I think ....

If I could just remember for sure ...

ah...100% used. Well, that explains quite a bit. That Windows partition is looking more and more tasty every day.

...or just plain df if you are just looking for 100%. I didn't figure out what either of those two options did. I will look it up tomorrow. Bah.

            Code:
            df
            for output in blocks
            Code:
            df -h
for output in binary units (k/M/G as appropriate)
            Code:
            df -H
            for output in decimal units
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (yes Gnome) with upgrades applied daily about 0900 UK time. Hardware is Dell Precision 420, 2x 800 MHz PIII, 512 MB RDRAM, nVidia GeForce 6800 128 MB AGP graphics, 18GB SCSI and 500GB IDE HDDs, DVD burner, Hauppage TV card.
