network connection gone after restoring from hibernation.

I recently got power management via kpowersave working and just turned on hibernation a few days ago. It works fine except when I wake it up the network connection isn't active. I have to shutdown and reboot the PC to make get the network back.

I'm aware this isn't enough information to fix anything but I'm not sure what info would be needed or where to look for it.

This could also be a software issue and not a hardware issue.

Can anyone tell me where to start?

I have this same problem with my laptop. It's an Intel 4695AGN chip. I am running the iwlwifi driver 1.00.
