    "Safely Remove" Issues, Won't remount.

Forgive me if I am repeating a thread, but I'm new here.

Alright, I have a problem with the "Safely Remove" feature of Kubuntu. After I use it a couple of times, I cannot get a USB drive to mount anymore. At the moment, my solution is to reboot, as logging out, and logging back in does not help.

I have not yet tried to manually mount the device. I am concerned that the automount feature only works twice.

    Hm, not satisfactory me thinks.

Did you unplug the stick? For further troubleshooting enter
    Code:
    dmesg|tail
on the command line every time you mount/unmount the stick and post the failure output...

OK, that shows us the process for when it works. Keep running that command every time you plug/unplug the stick and post what happens when it stops working.

The reason for the delay in my reply, is I recently had to completely reinstall Kubuntu. It seems there may have been more wrong, than a simple script.

Although, it might have been Compiz, with its tranparency... Combined with the funky way my Removable drive icon likes to move around each time I reconnect it.

I just have to click the "Show Desktop" icon, after two, or three times.
