    CAN'T ADJUST BRIGHTNESS VAIO VGN-NR150FE

    Hello

Need help on how to configure my vaio. I'm new to linux, I don't know how to make it work properly. Any suggestions are welcome.

    thank you in advance.

There should be a little battery icon in the system tray on the bottom-right of the screen (in the taskbar). If you click on it, you should be able to adjust the brightness of your laptop both for when you are connected to your AC adapter and when not. At least, that's the way it is on my laptop.

After a little research, I found this HOWTO in Ubuntu's community documentation. It was written for Ubuntu 6.06 (Gutsy is 7.10), but it should still work.

Let me know if you need any help or run into problems,
