I was running feisty on my laptop and everything was working perfectly. I then did a dist-upgrade to gutsy when it came out and found that some of my laptop keys don't work anymore.
The multimedia keys work (volume, play/pause, track skip), the "mediadirect" button works (it opens amarok) but some of the fn keys no longer work.
The list of ones that do still work:
enable/disable wireless
battery status display
numpad
sysreq, scrolllock,break, etc
and the ones that don't work (which are the most important ones): brightness up/down
As I said these worked fine in feisty... now the only way I can change brightness is by clicking on the battery systray icon and moving the sliders there.
I'd appreciate any help as this is a big pain. Thanks
