clean install of gutsy on sony p3 with SiS built-in graphics. monitor is a sony 15 in flat screen (with proprietary sony cable that provides video and power)...when monitor power saving kicks in to shut off monitor the screen goes completely white instead of dark. i have tried turning power management off in the bios, changed "option dpms false" in xorg.conf, used the same settings that work in another (non-sony) gutsy install. anything else i could try ? thank you.
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
