Any way to get Bluetooth Keyboards working in Grub??

I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse that work wonderfully in Kubuntu

    However

Im tired of having a second keyboard attached to my system for when I reboot and need to switch between boot configs. Also to press F1 to continue, when required.

Is there some way to activate them at boot?

When I was only running Windows XP they were working fine at boot. Now that I am mostly using Kubuntu they drop their connection.

Probably not, since that kid of thing would be handled in OS space...

If I'm wrong, please correct me.
    For external use only.

      I think your right.
However how is it that Windows can control OS and Ubuntu?
Well yes before you start, I realise they are from the same producer. But is there anything else to it?
