keyboard not responding after login?

I have no I dea what is happening. I let someone use my workstation for about 10 minutes. When I used it again, I could not type anything in anything that needs typing (Firefox, Console, write) etc. So I re-booted. I can type my password at the loging screen, but that is as far as when my keyborad works. It just beeps when pressing keys instead of typing. I can log in as root in xwindows and typing works fine, so seems to be with my profile settings.

does anyone know what It can be?

I also just noticed that if I press keys they just beep and display nothing, if I hold the key down, after 2 seconds it wil start typing that letter. If I let the key go and press it again it just beeps.

Just solved it. It seems that he pressed two keyes at the same time and the option "Use Slow Keyes" was enabled.

I deselected it in System Settings/Accessibility/Keyboard filter (Tab).
