    Dual pentium motherboard

One of my PC's have a dual Pentium (as in two separate, not dual core.)

Win 2000 supports this - sort of: If the program is written for it, then ... but so few are.

How about Kubuntu? I've tried searching, but all I find is regarding dual core processors.

Will Kubuntu utilize this motherboard to the full?

Did that. But the Ksyslog don't show two CPU's, like Windows, so I really don't know.

Which kernel does the LiveCD boot? If possible, try the -generic kernel. That seems to fix a lot of multi-processor issues.

If you've got an extra drive just lying around, you could do a full install and find out...

              Found it:

              [me@kubuntu]# cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep processor | wc -l

              2

              Kubuntu sees both processors.

                Cool.

I think KMenu>System>Kinfocenter will show both CPUs, as well, if you click the correct hardware menu.

Hm ... if I scroll down it does - processor 0 and 1.
