Hi,
I have a strange problem on Gutsy. I'm using ndiswrapper for my wireless networking, to get the most out of my Broadcom wireless card. Everything's set up and working fine, and I have network manager loading a startup so that the first thing I see is a kwallet password request and get automatically connected to the network at home.
However, for some strange reason this only happens every third boot. When it doesn't work, it appears that there is no wireless device picked up by the system (so wlanassistant doesn't see one either, for example) - it's not just network manager.
I've tried unloading and reloading the ndiswrapper module, but I get an error telling me that I can't remove the module because it is in use.
It's the every third boot thing I can't figure - from what I can tell it's a regular three boots required. What could be causing this?
I'm using the 2.6.22-14-generic kernel with ndiswrapper 1.43.
Any help greatly appreciated.
