I just installed the driver for my NVIDIA GEForce FX5500 graphics card (which I got from the NVIDIA website). Apart from the fact that the installation messed up X (I'm across that problem) now when I try to run any program with 3d graphics I get the error "Couldn't set video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX visual" Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix?

Re: NVIDIA card, 3d graphics not working
If your driver is installed and enabled, open Konsole and enter the command below:
Code:sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals --composite
If not, you may want to try reinstalling the driver with Envy.Asus G1S-X3:
