I have this Kubuntu PC running from two 9 Gb very fast SCSI disks. #2 hold the /home directory - everything else on #1 (actually #3&4 as the Adaptec hig-speed card sees it.) These two are on a backplane, so there is just one power supply and one SCSI cable connection to both.
This is ex server gear, needing a startup message. This happens just fine when I boot, however, sometimes they "go to sleep" - and only #1 wake up - making all sorts of trouble - mainly the KDE desktop.
Do anyone know a way to send two startup signals, not just one, from inside Kubuntu?
Edit: It died ... that's the reason.
