    Setting screen resolution to 1440x900

I just bought a new acer AL1916W monitor. This monitor should display a 1440x900 screen resolution. However, i can't find this option in the slider under the monitor&display settings. I use the openchrome via driver.
    How can I fix this?

You can do it via manually editing your xorg.conf file.

Back up /etc/X11/xorg.conf and "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg", making sure you choose the correct driver and your desired resolutions.

Oh, and molloollom, would you mind doing something about that link? It's stretching the page...
