First post so be gentle with me
I'm having problems getting my optical wireless mouse to work with at an equivalent level of accuracy to XP. Vertical and horizontal movement is ok, but diagonally it's pretty bad - imagine the staggered horizon line on an old DOS flight sim
I've added the 'Resolution' variable line to the xorg.conf and tried values from 100 to 2000 with no change in result and can't find any other possible solutions anywhere on the net.
I haven't touched the rest of xorg.conf since I installed Kubuntu.
Xorg.conf pasted below:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
Option "Resolution" "2000"
EndSection
Oh, it's a 'MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2000'
Any help with this would be cool.
