Whatever I do in System Settings -> General -> Monitor & Display
the resolution stays the same. I can change the Refresh.
At the moment the settings say 1600x1200 @ 75 Hz. If I change to 85 Hz the desktop goes a little to the right, but the resolution is 1280x1024.
I've tried going to a 1280x1024 - and then back to 1200x1600, but no luck; System Settings just dies, and when I look after restart - it says 1600x1200.
There seems to be some problem with the Systems Settings package, as part of the menus are Japanese. A quick search reveals that more Norwegians are experiencing this.
