Ok I been looking around for a way to reset my usb webcam. I am using PWC driver for logitech quickcam 3000. It works fine after boot but when I use vmware it will work until I close vmware then I lose all access to it even through camorama. The light never comes on anymore either. When I do a reboot everything works fine.
I am wondering if there is a way to restart the usb device without rebooting. I have tried rmmod and modprobe -r then reloading the driver with modprobe but no luck until I reboot. There must be a way to just reset the usb devices or something.
