Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
It's possible...
A company called Linuxant does make Linux drives, but you have to purchase the full version. The free versions limit download to 14.4 kbps.
If you want to try the Windows drivers, go for it. ndiswrapper is in the repos.
(If I were you, I'd just buy a different modem. My local Radio Shack carried a non-Conexant modem, but I don't know about yours.)
