Dear Kubuntu forummembers,
I have a strange problem. My TV card only works under Kubuntu when I have a warm reboot after starting the TV card under M$-Windoze.
I have a Creatix CTX 917 V1 analog-TV/DVB-T card. (http://www.creatix.de)
How can I make this card working under Kubuntu without booting up M$-Windoze to initiate my TV card?
I have test it with tvtime and kdetv for analog-TV.
Here the parts of the boot with and without warm reboot.
I remember when I install the driver under M$-Windoze I have to answer the question if I have 50Hz (America) or 60Hz (Europe) electricity frequence. Linux didn't ask me anything like that. How can I do this with V4L2
OS Kubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) - 32bits (Intel compatible) edition.
Computer AMD 64 3400+ with Nvidia 6645 128 MB graphic card.
cold boot
