Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I've been here.
But I'm BACK "Lucky You" LOL....
Anyway I've got a PCchips Mainboard with a Via C3 Samuel CPU Onboard.
In Winblows it automattically throttles without any added software.
SO IT's designed to Throttle.
No arguments there.
Now here's the question
?
In Kpowersave it has all the settings except "Dynamic" CPU capabilitys
It says it's Not supported.
I tried Mepis but it wouldn't show up at all >
They told me Kpowersave wasn'st reconizing it, I knew that.
But they could'nt tell me how to fix it...
In Gutsy it shows the setting but says my CPU doesn't Support Throttling, as I said it does...
Now I tried the New Linspire 6.0 and Kpowersave there worked fine.
"Dynamic" setting and all, Throttled as it should.
But Linspire 6.0 Kept Freezing up, on Live or Installed.
It's not my CPU because Many people there were having the same prob, NO MATTER the CPU Single Core, Dual, AMD, Intel..
They were Blaming the VIA Chipsets, Nvidia Cards -n- Chipsets, etc, etc...
So I know that Kpowersave works with it but, HOW do I get it working the way it should in Kubutu?
