Hi everyone,
I'm really happy with the new version of Kubuntu that was released recently. Almost everything worked right out of the box, and anything that didn't was fixed with a bit of tweaking and updating which wasn't too much hassle.
However I have one small hitch that I am unable to figure out through forum searching. I have 2 perfectly working sound devices (an onboard system I use for speakers and a audigy 4 I use when i want to use my headphones) and I can't for the life of me find a way to change them on the fly while im logged in. By using the ubuntu help docs I was able to change my default card to either one and back again following a reboot, but what I'm looking for is a solution to be able to just change the card that is currently being used and back again without rebooting so I can just switch between my two cards whenever I feel like it.
I'm not a huge gnome fan, but this seemed to be the one area where I had an easier time figuring out. Any help with this would be great. Thanks!
