How do I turn on restricted drivers

    Hello,
How can I turn on the restricted drivers? When I try to enable the firmware for the broadcom chipset I get the following error message: "The software source for the package bcm43xx-fwcutter is not enabled". How am I expected to enable the software package? Thank you.

    HI,
    1. Go to Adept:
    2. open the adept menu and click 'manage repositories'
    3. The software sources dialogue should now open. If it does not, then you will need to install the 'software-properties-kde' package and restart Adept.
    4. On the "Kubuntu Software" tab, tick the option for "Proprietary drivers for devices (restricted)"
    5. Close the dialogue.
    6. A message will appear saying "The information about available software is out-of-date" click reload.

restricted drivers should now appear in Adept.
