'sup everyone?
I've been using kubuntu on my laptops for about a year and the wifi cards show up automatically, so i built a desktop out of an old dell my folks had lying around, it's been great, but i decided to put a wifi card into it. it was on sale for 9 bucks so i gave it a shot...anyways, it shows up in Gutsy lspci as:
01:06.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88w8335 [libertas] 80 2.11b/g Wireless (rev 03)
and this under lshw:
*-network:0 UNCLAIMED
description: Ethernet controller
product: 88w8335 [libertas] 802.11b/g Wireless
vendor: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.
physical id: 6
bus info: pci@0000:01:06.0
version: 03
width: 32 bits
clock: 66MHz
capabilities: bus_master cap_list
configuration: latency=64
i looks like it should work, but it's not. any suggestions?
thanks!
