Wifi card troubles

'sup everyone?

I've been using kubuntu on my laptops for about a year and the wifi cards show up automatically, so i built a desktop out of an old dell my folks had lying around, it's been great, but i decided to put a wifi card into it. it was on sale for 9 bucks so i gave it a shot...anyways, it shows up in Gutsy lspci as:

i looks like it should work, but it's not. any suggestions?

I don't have one, but looking at the Ubuntu forums, it looks like others have had some luck with these instructions:
