multi button mouse support

I wonder why this forum is empty...

Here is my suggestion for hardware support in the next Kubuntu-release:

PLEASE integrate a decent mouse setup. I believe that >50% of all mice have extra buttons nowadays, and they CAN be set up in (K)UBUNTU (see e.g. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...ForwardButtons). But there is no GUI way to set that up in Kubuntu.

So, PLEASE make the side button support a bit more intuitive, during install, e.g., but better from kcontrol.

I agree! I started using Kubuntu immediately after i found out that 7.04 solved the black screen at boot problem, and the only thing that has been annoying me is the fact that i can't seem to set up my multi-button mouse to do the "forward" and "back" navigation in Firefox (or Konqueror, but i prefer FF).
