Hi,
I searched for a cleaner solution to the problem "password asked twice at login when using knetworkmanager and wireless connection", that is raised quite frequently in this forum and elsewhere.
A clean solution (instead of setting an empty master password for kwallet) would be:
Provide a PAM module that opens the default wallet at login time.
I have succeeded to implement this in Gutsy Gibbon with the help of a patch against KDE (kdelibs) [1] and a (debianized) RPM of pam-kwallet [2] that is shipped with OpenSUSE 10.3.
I'm not sure whether this forum is the right place to discuss this topic. If not, where can I post this else? Is there any developer mailing list for Kubuntu?
