It would be nice to be able to install kubuntu by downloading a big file (like the install iso) and be able to install it from either DOS, or maybe windows, or even another linux distro 
the closest thing so far seems to be the net install that i used to install ubuntu using loadlin from DOS.
a pure hard drive install must be possible surely
would it be possible to bundle all the install files into a .zip with loadlin, or similar so all we'd have to do would be unzip the folder into the root of our hdd and drop to dos to begin the install?
