[UPDATE]
In dapper main repo, starting with kernel 2.6.15-12, BCM43xx drivers are supported and included in dapper. Though I have yet to get a wireless connection with the new drivers it is good to see they are on there way...
good job guys....
[/UPDATE]
I noticed that the opensource broadcom wireless chipset drivers (BCM43xx) drivers are finally working with kernel 2.6.15 and up. I think this is the most commonly used wireless chipset in modern (last 2 years) laptops and have heard it works great and gives added functionality that ndiswrapper couldn't supply. For a long time ndiswrapper was the only way to virtually get wireless working under linux with this chipset. This is a must have.
