    New printing system

From the ubuntu tribe 5 announcement:

The old, unmaintained gnome-cups-manager has been replaced with system-config-printer, a printer management application from Fedora. We now have a well maintained piece of software, and good collaboration with Tim Waugh, assisted by Till Kamppeter who has been doing an amazing job, and has made big improvements on it.
As this is an under-the-hood change, and has not that much to do with Gnome/KDE I was wondering if Kubuntu has this new printing system as well.

    Re: New printing system

There should be no need to use the new ubuntu/fedora/gnome printer management (though you can if you really want to).

KDE's printer management should do the job as well (or better )
