FreeBoB Support (firewire audio devices)

It would be nice if (K)ubuntu had builtin support for FreeBoB. For those of you that don't know, FreeBoB is a project that is adding linux support for many Firewire Audio recording devices. Being that I do alot of audio recording, this would be a huge deal to me and would allow me to finally delete XP from my laptop. I don't know if any distro to date has FreeBoB support out of box.

Added to https://wiki.kubuntu.org/UniverseCandidates but you may get best response by packaging it yourself. Join #ubuntu-motu on freenode IRC network for help.
