    flash and stuff!!

Can you please find an easy (without having to resort to using the 'terminal' way for the user to add flash to Konqueror and also 'real player'? Just wish there was some way of them working with ALL websites straight out of the box!!!Would make Kubuntu far more 'user friendly' for us 'noobs'

ummm, you haven't had to "add/install flash by command line" for a long time, its called debconf. and if you want flash installed you actually don't even have to install the full flash package per se, you can install mozilla-plugin-gnash or libgnash. (the caveat tho is that it fully supports up to flash v7 only i believe).

There are a couple of "flash animation viewers" in the (graphic installation utility) Adept list and now the animations in SWF are working, apparently. Check this: Klash (Gnash) SWF viewer for KDE (multimedia category). It worked for me, as well as the gnome version. Also (rather?) try to search for this plug-in for Firefox in the Synaptic list. It's quite simple (even I could do it )
      Good luck!
