I would like to have automounted my external ntfs formatted hard drive (with write support enabled) like the ubuntu users have (they have the option to choose to write too).

i think prolly the ONLY reason this doesn't "work" by default is cuz kubuntu prolly doesn't have ntfs(g) (support) installed by default and ubuntu does. cuz as long as you have ntfsg installed, it should automount like any other device with any filesystem, i would think...<br />

Maybe I just don't understand... but I can't see why all the drives on a system wouldn't be automatically mounted. It just seems like a good idea.
I have a link to instructions on how to mount the other HDDs in my box so now I can do it.. but come on what a complicated process for something seemingly so simple.
