I have installed Fiesty Herd 3 and would like Konqueror to display my hard drive and floppy instead of empty folders. How can I accomplish this?

On the Konqueror
click on View then click on Show Hidden Files
It will place an X in front of Show Hidden Files
Then click on Settings and click on Save View Profile "Kubuntu File Manager"...
On the Profile Management - Konqueror
The Profile name should be Kubuntu File Manager
Then click on Save
You can also name it if you what to something else.

I followed your instruction but still have 3 folders; cdrom0, cdrom1, and floppy0. This is in "Storage Media". I want it to show the HD and the floppy icons and work. I have never been able to figure out how to correct this.Comment

I cannot find a report on it yet, but i do believe it is a known issue that has not been addressed yet. Please remember that feisty is still in development and is still considered an alpha release, so remember that these sort of issues will be common as various issues are sorted out, and to be prepared for breakages, etc., and more importantly to file and search for bugsComment
