In the old days -- 2-3 years ago -- I used mutt as my mail agent. It was always a struggle to get a mail transfer agent working, though and the last time I gave up and used sylpheed. Recently I installed a new linux, choosing Kubuntu. I'm very happy with Kubuntu. When I installed sylpheed this time it worked flawlessly.
However, when I tried to set up mutt it was a miserable failure. I got fetchmail to download mail from my ISP, but no modifications of postfix I was able to find made it actually upload mail. After fussing with it for much of yesterday I purge-removed the whole business. If anyone can assist me in setting up mutt and postfix to function I'd love it. I'd like a simple terminal-based mail client, good as sylpheed is. Mutt is just more congenial somehow.
