Firefox upgraded to ver. 3.0 and it is slow as snails in January. Click on something and there is a looong delay. Anyone else had this problem. Using KDE desktop.

Yep - - and it locks up the complete system with damned slow dialup. Been trying to fix the problem for a couple weeks. Also have the same problem with Opera, but not when I use something like adept manager for six or seven hours straight. -

Indeed, firefox 3 is so slow and sluggish. The same version in vista runs much more smoothly.
I found a slight speed improvement disabling Web Developer extension, but I don't think there's something wrong with it, as it works fast in vista.Comment
