phpmyadmin not working

The title sums it up. 404 not found. I have apache2, php5, mysql5, installed. Got webmin running fine and have 2 shopping cart packages running perfectly so the servers seem to be OK. I've installed phpmyadmin from the repos. I've tried making the symlink in /var/www to /usr/share/phpmyadmin like I read in the ubuntu forum (can't find the > post right now). I've tried setting it up like a virtual host. Nothing is working

I have Mint Celena on another partition. Phpmyadmin works beautifully in it. This isn't the first time I've had issues with the LAMP in Feisty. It's getting tiresome switching to Mint to get anything done.

You probably know more than I do, but... I installed phpmyadmin a few days ago to sort out some mythbuntu problems. Just to make sure... You open firefox and the following URL to access phpmyadmin

http://localhost/phpmyadmin
