how to turn off this process /sbin/mount.ntfs /dev/sda1 /windows

hi all,

when i have a look at the process list of my machine, i can see the following entry.

/sbin/mount.ntfs /dev/sda1 /windows -o rw,nls=utf8,umask=007,gid=46

this process takes up to 20% of cpu time and lets my harddisk work like mad. how can i disable
this process ? i do not want my windows partition mounted automatically

What do you have in the /etc/fstab ?

Is there something like?

# /dev/sda1
UUID=3A00F03E00F00325 /media/sda1 ntfs defaults,nls=utf8,umask=007,gid=46 0 0
