How to have Kmail reply to selective emails?

    Hi there,

I used to use Kmail quite a bit and had a nice little system going to have automatic replies to emails with a particular subject. I didn't use Kmail for quite a while and we seem to have changed to the enterprise branch, and now I can find loads of very esoteric filter options but not how to do a simple:

    if <subject> contains <XXXXX> reply with <YYYY>

    Anyone have any ideas?

First, I'll apologize for not being able to provide an "in the can" answer, but ....

In KMail, you can create a filter rule based on who (from) sent the email, and you can elect to "execute command" which you would point to (a bash shell command) to accomplish what you want.

Again, I apologize for not being able to tell you exactly how to do this.
