Sound Volume went down drastically.....

I am not sure what has happened, but basically 2 things have happened today. The sound volume has gone down drastically. What used to be was 6% was a normal low and hearable sound level, now needs to be at 60% or above, with all else being the same settings.

The other part is when using Mozilla based web browsers, whenever a page has a popup, the Mozilla browser shuts down/ quits. I put this error in another topic, but maybe they are related..... not sure.

If you are referring to a particular application, such as amarok, then check your kmix settings.

kmenu-multimedia-kmix

Make sure your master and pcm volume settings are up.
