can not update to Gusty with Adept

When I try to update going through Adept keep getting "There was an error committing changes...... etc..... Any help would be appreciated.

Have heard a few people have this issue. I've had quite a few issues with Gutsy myself, which is why I am currently only using Feisty.

Have you tried doing a re-install and then a full update?
EDIT: or probably the simplest would be a fresh install of Gutsy from the gutsy install package and jsut backing up anything you want to keep to DVD first.
The version upgrade doesn't really work too well tbh

Thanks for the info. I will most likely re-install. Have a few other bug's so that is what I will do. Back to square one.
