Gamma setting going down (0?) after monitor turnoff/when playing video

Hi here, last 3 days my xserver started to set gamma to very low value,so monitor is very dark, closely unreadable after resume from suspend mode or sometimes while playing video, looks a bit random, maybe sometimes even while just idle.
Probably it was around the time i added this into xorg.conf:
    Code:
        Option "Capabilities" "0x00000800"
        Option "UseFastTLS" "off"
        Option "KernelModuleParm" "locked-userpages=0"
        Option "VideoOverlay" "off"
        Option "OpenGLOverlay" "on"
        Option "OverlayOnCRTC2" "1"
        Option "FSAAScale" "0"
        Option "FSAAEnable" "off"
Here is the whole xorg config:
    Code:
    # /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
    #
    # This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
    # values from the debconf database.
    #
    # Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf(5) manual page.
    # (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)

Re: Gamma setting going down (0?) after monitor turnoff/when playing video

In your Section "Monitor" you might try adding a Gamma line for example:

    Gamma 2.2

Re: Gamma setting going down (0?) after monitor turnoff/when playing video

Ok tried adding Gamma 2.2 (using 1,so 2.2 as u said to see change), however gamma in KDE kept at 1, so did it really change a thing? I'll see after few days, thx.
