    Gui configuration Tool

    Hello to all Kubuntu users .

    I am new to linux and kubuntu . So I have many things to learn .

    I want to setup a DNS serve on kubuntu 7,04 . Is there any gui to do this ? Not web gui because I haven´t learn how to control apache by konsole . So I need a gui for apache too . Are there such tools ?

    you might try Webmin. It is a browser based configuration system, but does not use apache or anything like that. There are lots of tools in there, to set up and configure various services/servers.

      Yes I know webmin , but there is not any package in kubuntu repositiry . I need somehing from there .

        as per the above entry,you can find ubuntu deb packages on webmin's website, but it looks that the deb packages's install cannot properly handle Ubuntu's 'rootless' setup (which is why webmin was removed from the repos, it seems)
        It is also no too terrible to install/uninstall manually from a tar file, if you look at this:
